Ode to a Memory

For years, it seems, we were almost inseparable
For back then you were still a major part of my life
Unfortunately, though, the time has now come
For me to say adieu
And yet, our relationship from the past is still such
A part of me that it may take years to get you
Completely out of my system
But with the real possibility of having my arteries
Blocked, you and the other triglycerides simply must go
