Ode To A Preacher - Poem by Joseph T. Renaldi
I come to you in desperate need
With shattered dreams not to be.
I come to you with problems in store
So that my soul can be restored.
The distress of my body and mind is great,
You're ready to help me! I never wait!
No matter where, no matter when,
You help to alleviate my problems even then.
If despondent, helpless and even sad,
You are the person who will make me glad.
You guide and direct me to proudly stand,
And willing to accept me just as I am.
