I have seen you grow
From a small girl to a BIG grown-up lady
You have helped me grow
And been right by my side when things were shady
We have experienced our first loves and first heartbreaks together
In you I have found my other half, my soul sister
We lift each other’s spirit as easy as a feather.

Remember the downstairs cabinet? What a fluster!
Or the times we mischievously snuck out?
The exhilarating rush of adrenaline,
Our bodies rushing with blood throughout.
At times we may have crossed the line
Somehow we always got back on track
A few years older and wiser, in a way.

Strength shines through your sky blue eyes and back
Your beautiful mane dances when you start to sway
Possessing a knack for connecting with people
Always flashing your friendly smile
Your mind goes higher than a church steeple
With memories and questions in a separate file
Everyday with you is like an exciting new show

Do not ever forget you are beautiful baby,
May we be friends forever
