Ode To Death Poem by Christon SykesSmith

Ode To Death

Rating: 5.0

The sun shines upon everything even in the hour of death.
The plants,
People,
Civilization.
All will be gone sooner or later

For every action there is an equal
And
Opposite
Reaction.

Just as the winter kills the leaves,
The moon kills the sun.
The stupid summer sun comes back with
Retaliation.

For every action there is an equal
And
Opposite
Reaction.

The lively people eventually will become bland and boring.
Bastars will die,
Lovers will die.
Vampires. Basterd try living forever but they too
will die.

For every action there is an equal
And
Opposite
Reaction.

The new
wet,
crying,
drooling babies.

Eventually turn to
The old,
dry,
silent,
dead man.

The job of death will out last
the world
But, When everything else has died
Death itself
Will die.
