Ode To Jim (Or The Man On The Window Ledge) Poem by Jasmine Chhouri

Ode To Jim (Or The Man On The Window Ledge)

Rating: 4.5

I can feel your haunting eyes over me when I sleep
Your poisoned thoughts entering me with every heartbeat

I feel your touch underneath my skin, lighting fires within every piece your intention lands on

I feel what you feel, what you say I say
Your words constantly echoing through my lizard brain
Give in love come play! You say and I will I am weak to your power and passion

You are a demon stuck in my mind

Your tongue in my mouth now caressing mine, shaping words to me previously unknown
You speak in riddles but I care none
I am entranced by the power of your being and seeing only the pleasurable lust and meaning here in the great hall of your darkness

I have grown accustomed to your pain, don't ever dare to leave me again
I am addicted to your scent and sense oh ghost within my soul
With you I feel alone but whole

Still wanting more, needing more, dying to get some more

Now you are my own
Haunted, tortured love
