Ode To Kafka Poem by James Gibbons

Ode To Kafka

Rating: 4.0

What is this creepy thing
inflecting my body?
Busily digesting flesh melting
First stages of the blob
Someone call Steve McQueen.
End of my extremities
swell ominously, wriggling
undulating like giant worms!
busily digesting tissue.
I'm becoming what i fear most,
mistaken for castings,
shoveled up and thrown
on a compost heap!
