Ode To Leigh Hunt Poem by James Gibbons

Ode To Leigh Hunt

To see is to admire
An immediate sharing
quite willing to be who she is
Captivating all who know the secret
Who is more blest?
The giver or the receiver?
An immediate connection, conveyed
Understanding a priceless moment
The truth of it awakens time
And he records this only moment,
and sees her walking with a certain lightness
As if gravity were not an issue
So let us live again.
If naught but share a kiss with her.
