Mother earth gives life
To all things that lives and grows
She gives sustenance
To nourish and nurture growth
Of life growing in her womb

From small seeds planted
Plants and trees and flowers grow
In her fertile fields
Her gift to mankind and beasts
In perpetuation of life

Deep within her womb
She keeps her prized posessions
Her buried treasures
Minerals, diamonds and gold
For all of mankind to use

Man is ungrateful
To mother earth for her gifts
For giving him life
He abuses her kindness
Destroying her for his greed
