Ode To Mr. Hopper Poem by John Leroy Maxwell

Ode To Mr. Hopper

I 'm so sorry that you weren't feeling so swell
I never knew, 'til you jumped in the Well
You hid all your worries, your dislikes and woes
And you never complained, when I stepped on your toes
You were cuddly and cute, and when you left the yard
I knew for you, I'd have to stand guard
Believe me Mr. Hopper, you were getting to be a habit
You'll forever be my favorite Rabbit
Know in your spirit, that I'm thinking of you
In fact, right now, I'm eating Rabbit Stew
