Should I compare you to a quiet night?
You shine with steadiness, calm, and regal grace.
Your heart is firm, your mind is both sharp and bright,
A strength that's felt, though it's never in one's face.

Your intellect is sharp and focused, a careful guide,
Solving the puzzles others leave behind.
Logarithms and math, victories you could pride—
With ease, you make the answers look easy to find.

You build with hands that think as much as feel,
Inventive, bold—your vision knows no end.
Your words are clear, your thoughts both sharp and real,
A voice that speaks with wisdom, such a friend.

Your trumpet rings with vigor, sounding out true,
A steady note that rises from your heart so deep.
You play with soul, with focus, through and through,
A melody that echoes, wakens, and lulls to sleep.


Your courage, quiet, still, but fierce and strong,
You fight for right, no matter what the cost.
With you, no cause is ever lost for long,
Your quiet strength, a force not to be tossed.

In every word, in every look you share,
There lies a wit, a humor rare and bright.
But in your heart, a selflessness so fair,
You give, you stand, and fight for what's right.

And when I think of all that you have been,
The love you give, the strength you carry near,
I see the heart of one who never gives in,
The Greatheart always brave, forever dear.

So here, my brother, with this praise I write,
To honor you with my love bright.
In all you do, you give yourself away—
A light that shines, and guides through the darkest day.
