Odyssey Of Ages (Part 3) Postern Of Fate Poem by Anthony Dover

Odyssey Of Ages (Part 3) Postern Of Fate

The gentle voice,
The mother's choice,
The garden of healing,
The better feeling.

The beating of wings,
The timely Spring,
The beautiful flowers,
Oh, what nature can bring.

The study of books,
The learning again,
The uphill struggle,
The lessening of pain.

Houses of healing,
And starry nights,
Warm by the fire,
And feeling alright.

Sowing of seeds,
Meeting of needs,
Warm by the fire,
And feeling alright.

The painting of pictures,
The discovery of talent,
The immersion in culture,
And the life I meant.

The philanthropist emerges,
In man and beast,
The patient accrual,
Of wisdom to meet.

The quiet days spent,
Pondering what God meant,
The Family Christmas's
And the Mistletoe kisses.

The fulfillment of dreams,
By many years hard work,
The return to peace,
Its at your feet.

Hi Anthony. This is a beautiful poem. I read in the Bible that God, speaking in the first person, finds pleasure in those who question him, ponder him, test him, try him, prove him. He tells us to search him out. So dont listen to narrow minded people. Ponder away. I enjoyed this one very much. Catie :)

What God meant or what he means? in your words or nature's scenes, far beyond mankind's schemes.
