Oh! Human ambition thou sorcerer of the fragile mind,
Thou dost fill us with a false sense of pride,
Making us reject values that are true,
While in your cauldron wicked spells you brew!
You ride upon the broom of intellect,
And with your wisdom, human frailties do select.
Using them you put man against man and beast,
What happens hitherto you care, the least?
Slowly you have transformed the planet green
Into an artificial wasteland unfit for habitation
Infected Gaia with a lethal cancer,
Against which there seems to be no medication!
Alas! Some of us realize the folly!
But majority of men are still in your charms.
Tis not long before doom and death will be everywhere,
It will be too late but do we care?
