Of Muffins And Poems
to choose between
a muffin and a poem
you surely will choose
the latter,
it does not give
me any surprise
for given the same
situation, i will surely
do the same.
what surprises me
is this desire to compose
more poems
despite the reality that
the muffin is more
delicious,
i am groping for a
metaphor to describe you
i am in the dark
and eating my muffins
trying to forget
some unfinished poems.
