Of Sadness Poem by Parvati Pradnya

Of Sadness

Rating: 4.5

When I drown in despair
Slowly, slowly happiness breathes out
Surrounded by black waters
I sink deeper, deeper
Till I lose sight of land above
Where the eye of heaven becomes blind
I close my eyes and
The happiness that was
Flashes before me

Its cold, and my blood freezes
The water floods me
It's bitter, it chokes me.
I open my eyes.BLACK.
Now I want it to end.Alas!
It's going to release me
From all pains and pleasures
I say no,
M heart feels heavy
Its beats are getting faster.
The breaths are getting slower.
There is no way out.
Only black waters around
Swirling like pythons around me,
Crushing the life inside me
And thrusting out the last breaths
