Of The Meaning Of Poem by Francis Duggan

Of The Meaning Of

Of the meaning of our own human existence my curiosity grow
Since so little about it i can claim of to know
Surely there is more to life than being born with others to compete for material success
And have in us this need others for to impress
Like all other life forms the same for you and i
Since we are born to life to eventually die
But many of us does like to be seen
We live with what is known as the self centered gene
On our need for material gain we make for ourselves foes
The ego in us does give rise to greed one does have to suppose
Those who feel compassion for others are good people indeed
And of more of their sort humanity is in need
What is life about i am not one of a few
For to ask such a question this is not saying anything new.
