With trembling hands you felt my heart
As ‘ 'though not really sure just where or how to start
With tears in your eyes you kissed my cheeks
Then your voice broke gently as I hear you speak…

“ I’ 'm not afraid to die, I’ 'm not afraid to lose
As long as you’ re beside me, THIS life I will still choose
But there’ 's one thing that breaks me, one thing that makes me blue
It’ s the fear that my tomorrows would be days that aren’ 't with you… ”

With a weary hug I tried to console you
‘ Though I’ m not really sure if my words sounded true
With my kisses gentle I tried to appease you
Trying to convince you that we will make it through

“ I will never leave you, we will never part
The love that we have will forever burn in our hearts
And as long as the sun rises, long as the morning birds still sing
You must never be afraid of what tomorrow may bring… ”

With trembling hands I felt your heart
For I myself am not sure we will never part
But I simply can’ 't ignore this song that my heart sings
So for you I’ 'll face this fear of what tomorrow brings…
