Off Kilter Ii Poem by Elena Plotkin

Off Kilter Ii

You are a pull wagon that lost one wheel,
You don't have to travel on even keel.
You can still carry a load to and fro.
Even if you are off-kilter you must know,
that no matter, how hard I try to keep you up,
Only you can help yourself fully line-up.
You lost an essential part of who you once was,
But you're not another martyr of a lost cause.
