Off The Hook Poem by Lawerence Mize, Sr.

Off The Hook

Out on the street
Down littered alleys
Bodies continue to drop
Who's keeping the Tally?

It's off the hook
No one to blame
The bad keep killing
Playing their deadly game

Who gave them the right
To be free from fault?
Who took the guns
Out of the vault?

Doesn't matter...
The laws being made
The killers will kill
When crime is their trade
