Oh How You Ignore Me So Poem by Teresa Duncan

Oh How You Ignore Me So

At times I really try to talk to you
About whats important to me
I'd like to believe you're really listening
But, Oh How You Ignore Me So

You turn to ask me a question
Never giving me a chance to respond
Guess I wasn't quick enough with my response
Because you really werent listening
Oh Boy How You Ignore Me So

I do everything I can to try to please you
To become a part of your life
You use to tell me, you'd make me your wife
Now it seems something has chanced your mind
Oh How You Ignore Me So

I sit here alone even when you're by my side
Won't even hold me till I fall asleep at night
The harder I try to get close to you
The more I'm shoved off to the side
Oh Boy How You Ignore Me So

Why do you tell me you want me to stay
When all you do is push me away
I'm not sensing feelings you may have for me
If that the case, then Please Nick, set me free
Because, Oh How You Ignore Me So
