From days of our youth
We have sung hymns of love
To our Saviour, the One we've not seen.
We worship his portrait forever before us
His name is Jesus, our golden evergreen
Adorned with a halo and a radiant sheen.
Oh this life is a wonderful dream.

From days long ago
We have gazed high above
To a Mansion, where we've never been.
Archangels descend, hovering around us
The countenance of Jesus reaches to greet us
