Oh Life, So Unfair Poem by Joshua Francis Belicano

Oh Life, So Unfair

Rating: 4.5

All these years, I have been wondering,
Worse things in my life are happening.
'Why now? ' That is my biggest question,
And my happy side does not function.
Oh Sadness! You're now a friend of mine,
Yet something says: 'It's not end of line.'
Hope! Why can't I know you anymore?
Left in pieces, lying on the floor.
Even in the field of love, I fail,
'It's such a disappointment! ', I wail.
Now, there is anger inside of me,
Enraged, why does this happen to me? !
As I looked in front of the mirror,
I see worst memories last summer.
Do I have to be so unlucky?
Or, I handled myself carelessly.
When I see others enjoying life,
I ask: 'Why do I have a sad life? '
And on the bright stars above, I stare,
Weeping, crying: 'Oh Life, so unfair.'

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Hello! I was depressed at this time...I felt Jealousy towards the happiness of my friends and others. I was a broken hearted...my friendship with my girl bestfriend was broken with just a simple misunderstanding last summer. I love her but now, things have change...every time I see her smile with another guy, I feel sad. I can't see Joy at this time so I made this poem. I hope you like it.

Lamentations from the heart, as ones life took a turn for the worse. A good piece, the essence of the poem fully captured, a lovely piece indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read and rate my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
