Oh, Lord Poem by Alisa Evsyukova

Oh, Lord

Rating: 4.8

Oh, Lord, your beautiful, perpetual creations
Inspire me to think of the sense of life.
The cries of waves persist the song of angels.
The pearls of stars reflect the lights of love.
Oh, Lord, with promising and warming breeze of freedom
You’re sending me an Omen of my fate.
I sincerely appreciate your care and wisdom,
And I promise you I’ll never forget,
I will never forget that precious moment
When I was standing quietly by the sea,
Watching the birth of summer’s morning,
When rays of holly bliss descended on me.

Again I was really pleased with this work Alisa. The spiritualism in it is overwhelming and it does not suffer from a sort of coryism that I tend to assoociate with, apparent religious works. In fact I wonder if it is a religious work at all. The line 'Watching the birth of summer’s morning' is beautiful, but it had me wondering if it should be morning and not day. but then morning has to come into being and so it does give a wonderfulimpression.
