Oh Lord, You're My Everything Poem by Lindokuhle Dawordplaymind Nkosi

Oh Lord, You're My Everything

Truthfully you are my everything,
My healer and redeemer.
You've never forsaken, nor forgotten I
You knitted I in my mom's womb,
Granted I the present and presence of life.
You are always with me in melancholy.
You blessed me with the art of invisible strength.
You discern the whispers of my sorrowful heart.
In the absence of light, you become my
candlelight.
You are the pillar and the rock of my life
You are my serenity stream, for
I drink in you and find love,
I drink in you and find hope,
I drink in you and find joy,
I drink in you and find peace,
I drink in you and find wealth.
Oh! I am appreciative of your blessings!
In you thirstiness is of no existence.
You are the spark of love that erupts in every
heart,
A stronghold, a shield of harmony,
The sun and the comforter of my soul.
In the storm of life, you shelter me with wings.
When I am blinded and absent-minded,
You are my sight and voice of reason.
When my feet of faith are weary, you mobilize me.
When hunger of misfortune strikes, you aid me to
reap success
Your greatness is greater than greatness
I cannot comprehend your greatness.
Oh Lord, you are my everything!
