oh mary magdalene
you were possessed
a demon scene!
jesus loved you
felt sorry for your mess
got rid of those pests!
your spirit was blessed
first to see the savior alive
you held him close
who was so close to you
he loved you and all of his crew
wherever you are, miss mary
your gentle love rings true
lover of jesus, eternal flame
the Friend you know and knew
