Oh, Moon Poem by Candice Renae Williams

Oh, Moon

Rating: 1.3

Oh, Moon with your shining knowing eyes
Wisely I’ve come to you for guidance
For foolish me, I have fallen in love
Losing all reason, I hoped not to fall,
But my heart had been taken readily
Leaving my mind’s cry gasping, shaking
This thief of my heart is fascinating
And trustily I was quite mesmerized

Oh, Moon with shining knowing eyes
Surely you can understand loves demand
For my soul is full of the longing
Wanting the edged reason to clarify
But my mind has lost the eased touch
Faithfully I do seek a command
That would soon lead me to my hearts culprit
And trustily I’m lost in this rapture.

Oh, Moon, Sweet sorrow, the night will end
For the air is humming its sweetest breath
Wrapping the night within softer light
But I relish the waking joy I’ve found.
Now, the dawning light is tinged
This thief of my heart has found me out here
And truthfully his glowing grin is my answer,

Oh, Moon I had thought my heart lost to me.
Truly I had almost lost my senses
For my mind was clouded with love’s quick faze
Lastly, forgive me for wasting your light
But, confused that I was, I’m glad for your help
Seriously, for your rapt attuning silence is a blessing in disguise.
This fool of a human, now happily smiles
And truthfully I run to my love with a tearful weep.

Well, I had a pattern down. This is written in a shakespearn something or other format, well the original was until a butchered it to this and forgot to keep the pattern...
