Oh, My Heart Is With You Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Oh, My Heart Is With You

Oh, my heart is with you
In all my thoughts and saying,
You were the one so true
And still, my strings are playing.
Feelings that never will go
Always from the inside giving,
All its thoughts and flow
That times and ways are living.

So much goes and comes
With the inside always calling,
Wisdom true that sums
Into days of imminent falling.
Only the moments depart
Giving all their true instance,
Resonances of love in the heart
Shall have the closing dance.

Oh, my heart is with you
Flowers of the eternal spring,
Seeds of the blooming new
That into my future will sing.
A feeling of fondness to give
Gracious from all that's living,
Each spring it will revive
That from the heart it's giving.
