Oh, pretty one will you be mine?
you captured my heart since the first day.
your tender gaze softened the rough terrain of my heart,
like a waterfall on a rainy season.
a river of love started to flow,
Since that day everything has changed.
now wind whispers your name,
birds sing your praise,
songs make sense.
your alluring light keeps me awake at night,
plotting ways to conquer your heart.
your sweet laugher tears the silence of the dark.
those piercing eyes haunt my dreams
& then I wake up &
my heart aches for you
my body longs for your touch.
feels like you're beyond my reach.
your child like innocence amazes me
awed by your beauty my heart constantly seeks your company.
Oh, pretty one,
you are the doom & you are the destiny.
you are the peace & you are the perplexity
you are the need & you are the necessity,
you're the ruler & you are the queen,
you are the joy & you are the ruin.
I wish I could open up my heart and show you the palace you live in.
but I stand mute with an ocean of desire & pain.
