Oh, stop the war, please!
The world needs only peace;
’Tis time to come back boys!
This war will not conclude;
More people seem to die;
More civilians will get maimed;
In-fighting will kill more;
Afilled with hate, hearts grow;
The place is no more safe;
Democracy won’t work.

Why force a kind of rule,
The people don’t welcome?
Why stay in alien land
And miss your kith and kin?

And blunders too were made;
Their hatred will not fade;
Money spent was all waste;
Reconstruction costs more;
Your lives are now at stake;
’Tis better you return;
Let people choose their rule.

Their land is in ruins;
The world is not happy;
The war was one-sided;
Repercussions will come;
This world can’t be all safe;
Terrorism will grow;
War is a wasteful show;
Why waste your precious time
And risk your life and limb?

When civilian unrest breaks,
No army can succeed;
The horrors of the war
Are fresh in hearts and minds;
Why waste your billions
Over ones who don’t want you?
Your country needs you back;
Your family yearns too;
Don’t you prolong the war;
Wars are always futile,

The innocent blood shed
Will bring curses on you;
So, return boys, won’t you?
You have just stayed enough;
There’s much to do at home;
You need to rest for now!
