One day
Like today
With no one staring
(How it should be)
You
With your weary devotion
Continue daring
Like it takes no courage at all
Like moving forward
Is as easy as looking back
Trudge along
You’re flawless now
While never knowing
Where you’re going
With only shadows left behind
