I dreamed a dream.
What could this mean?
I dreamed a dream,
It seemed so real.

I dreamed a dream, can you believe
At the table, gadgets were seen?
No eye contact, no conversation,
Undoubtedly, no time for any discussion.

Artificial intelligence replaced common sense.
Human interaction, with automation.
Is this the true meaning of progress,
Or have we really socially digressed?

Conflicts, once resolved at the playground,
Now technology, our children's companion.
We fought and played, but could not stay angry.
Now children want to play games with real artillery.

I dreamed a dream, if it is true,
What does it mean for you and me?
I dreamed a dream, oh what a dream,
Technology replaced humanity.
