Times And Seasons Poem by Charmaine Mack (Exquisite Charm)

Times And Seasons

Rating: 4.0

The sky so blue and magnificent;
The sun is bright and radiant.
The skimpy clouds walk by lazily,
The wind is blowing so peacefully.

The birds are chirping gorgeously,
Leaves on the trees rustle softly.
There's a serene little atmosphere.
Natural harmony is everywhere.

When did gloomy clouds appear?
Why do they gather oh so near?
Why has this happened at this time?
It changed the lovely mood of mine.

The rain came tumbling down
With a heavy tapping sound,
And it had a very strange delight,
To beat on everything in its sight.

My heart was hit tremendously.
The damage seemed purposefully.
A chill was apparent in the air,
Along with it came unyielding fear.

The downpour though has now diminished,
The pain removed with its relish.
A rainbow is now in full range,
For this is the time and season for change.
