Okay I Liked Disco - Poem by Connie Webb

I liked going to discos
If I hear a disco song
I just want to dance
All around the room
Pretending there is
A big ball in the middle
Full of mirrors and lights
Reflecting colors all over
My shirt and my legs
And your smile
As you spin around
In your polyester shirt
That sticks to your
Sweaty skin
Okay I liked disco.
