Okoe Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Okoe

A deep sleep fell upon man and,
There came a vision of a poem like this to toch you;
A deep sleep fell upon Abram and,
The law was given to him;
A deep sleep fell upon Adam and,
Out of him came Eve;
But Abram heeded the voice of Sarai.

Okoe, Hagar was an Egyptian maidservant;
But you are mine forever!
So come straight into my arms of love and,
Let us crown the day with the sweet muse of love.
I am in love with you and i will be there for you,
So let this sleep also fall upon us to swing the muse;
For in your bed i will lay always.
