Old Fame Poem by Paul Warren

Old Fame

You may remember me as I pass on through
Even if I was just a fleeting glimpse to you
You see it now doesn't matter much to me
Fame is just a momentary curse you'd see

There may have been a time different to today
And I would also have a different thing to say
Fame caste its shadow and now has gone away
When I am content to while away the day.
