Old-Fashioned Lovers' Tune Poem by Dannais dde Daneann

Old-Fashioned Lovers' Tune

Rating: 5.0

Lanterns dropping yellow tears,
Rain is sprinkling from above.
And I whisper, whisper: “Please,
Could You verse Your tender love! ..”

Tell me, tell me of sunset,
Of sunrise or weather,
How one day we’re gonna met,
How we’ve been together.

Oh, how difficult it is
Parted be, be far away,
Lanterns dropping bitter tears,
Under sprinkling rain they stay.

And it’s shining silver moon,
Shadows slowly moving,
There’s old-fashioned lovers’ tune:
Hearts they must be proving.

But I know with years’ increase
Feelings constant be enough,
So I whisper, whisper: “Please,
Could You verse Your tender love! ..”
