Old Me Poem by Justin Nyamoko

Old Me

Am old and unholded
All the poignant memories piercing my brains
Lost opportunities eating me alive

Am old and unloved
No longer can I help
Have been left alone
Lonely and no one to talk to
Depressed than impressed
With those I fought for

Am old and unloved
The songs I used to sing
Now in my head they sound
With chaos a feeling I have
My death shall redeem them
