Perhaps it's a poem on the left overs of a parent who has left. to paradise. May be some other loved one, but that's irrelevant for a reader. The reader is touched by the simple and effective style of the poet. Though the English version also touches the heart but the original Punjabi poem is a work of art.
Agreed. The English version does not describe as much as the original text does.
