Old Title Rides Poem by Bill Grace

Old Title Rides

Rating: 5.0

Compassion the highest form of prayer
for the ear of God's spirit that is everywhere
even lurking behind a trash can we will see -
tip of an iceberg - poorly apprehended divinity.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Bukowski's 'Trash Men' and Washington's letter to the Continental Congress requesting the position of what we would call today a chaplain - a 'devine' - in the original letter influence this offering.
COMMENTS OF THE POEM
