Ollie (My Dog) Poem by Tracy Oliver

Ollie (My Dog)

Empty dishes on the floor
Bed and bedding – not no more
Empty boxes filled with bones
Finding ‘doggy bags’ in your clothes

Silence, silence all around
Not a word - no bark - no sound
Another day and you are gone
It’s a struggle to carry on

A special place within our hearts
That’s where you’ll stay and never part
Your memory goes on and on
Your not forgot our little ‘son’

Floating off up to the sky
To see the lord – Oh my oh my
Sit and wait there for me
I’ll get your dad and its back to three! ! !
