Omnipresence Poem by Janet Mary Zylstra

Omnipresence

Rating: 5.0

You are everywhere.
Glowing in the rays of the sun of a brand new day;
Sparkling in the dew on the grass and fresh mown hay.
You are everywhere.
Shimmering on the wings of a butterfly at rest;
Whispering on the breeze at summer's crest.
You are everywhere.
Singing with the waves on a storm tossed sea;
Shining in the stars on a night that's clear.
You are everywhere.
Silently You wait on a drought-filled plain,
Holding in Your hands the clouds that bring rain.
You are everywhere.
Gliding on the pinions of an eagle brave;
Reaching down to earth our souls to save.
You are everywhere.
You suffered on a Cross to set us free
So that we may joyfully belong to Thee -
For You are everywhere.
