On A Clear Winter Morning Poem by Hiroshi Satow

On A Clear Winter Morning

On a clear winter morning,
I had a small talk to myself:

If my life's just a trifle,
The world's nice and fine as ever;

Since the world's sweet and stunning,
My life must be good and great.

And I smiled.
