On A Fine Fine Day Poem by Peter S. Quinn

On A Fine Fine Day

Here comes the sunshine
on a fine fine day,
everything is line in line
going its own way.
And my time is going still
finding new cross roads,
dreams still to fulfill
taking away earthly loads.

All is a way of longing
to get to where you want to,
making up and singing
what makes you - you!
And the dreams are steady
coming in and going,
let's get in time ready
worth of dreams showing.

Here comes the new song
with its dream winding,
ready to go there along
in its thoughts and finding.
And my time is closing
before it's all again gone,
the ways of dreams arousing
to carry the future on.

To carry the future on...
