On A Post-Hallowe'en Walk Poem by Richard St. Clair

On A Post-Hallowe'en Walk

A bed of needles and cones
Autumn's many colored coat
Alas, my weary old bones!
A bed of needles and cones
Tripping over rain-washed stones
On my day-dreams I'm a-float
A bed of needles and cones
Autumn's many colored coat.
