On A Riverside. Poem by Michael Cochrane

On A Riverside.

By the rivers flow I sit and gaze, nature's whispers speak in quiet ways. Leaves dance softly in the summer breeze.
While clouds drift by at ease.
Reflections ripple, painting a canvas where life's stories unfold in my mind.
Sky meets water, merging hues so vivid and bright, in their embrace, day turns to night.
Birds sing in flight, beneath the earth cradles old and new life. In this solitude, stillness of pure delight make me contemplate my life and gives my heart joy of nature on this earth.
