On A Train At Night Poem by Alexander Foald

On A Train At Night

On a train at night
The sounds of melodrama vehicle
Colliding with the track it runs on through
Bringing me closer to the town where I got you

I’ve got my tears shed from this face
For anything I could’ve done wrong in the first place
You know my head is full of your sedative smile
But you never look at me in the eye

So please listen to me when I need to talk
I will pack my bags and take a long walk
Though you won’t understand why we have to separate
It’s just not working itself for things between you and me

On a train at night
The sounds of melodrama vehicle
Collapsing along with the feeling goes to you
Fading away, as I’m counting the time to fall asleep
