I recall him when he was a youngster but back then did not realize
That he would become a renowned musician and singer songwriter and enjoy a Worldwide fame
Far from Millstreet and Murphy's Terrace his is now a very famed name.

He played under age gaelic Football for Millstreet but his heart was always elsewhere
He was one destined to become famous in the bigger World out there
In the bigger Cities of Europe with big stars he has shared the stage
And top European big events promoters his services willing to engage.

A down to earth man from Duhallow and a credit to his Town of Millstreet
A talented and successful person and success in the big time tastes sweet
At forty three in his prime as an entertainer and close to the peak of his career
He keeps getting better and better and far more of him we will hear.
