On Dreams Poem by Suryendu Chaudhury

On Dreams

The dreams do come on stranger tides
I choose to keep switching sides
a prince, a pauper, a scholar, a fool
dreams defy to follow rules
and yet they have rules too
that never fails to woo
sleep opens up to dreams
takes me along down the streams
and when I think it to be true
I wake up without the slightest clue!

A wonderful poem well crafted and conveyed. Yes, dreams have their own course
