I looked out the plane's window, rays of sun
Golden kisses brightens my heart has begun
Clouds like pure white atolls whispered
My mind softly emerged
Quiet dreams floated onto my soul,
My heart felt light, a sailing love,
As if I was in heaven, where sweet dreams are like gentle breeze
But duty's call, a gentle hand,
Pulled me back to dweller's land
The airport's gate hummed, a familiar sound
As my footsteps touched the earthly ground.
Yet in my soul, a secret sigh,
For those azure blue skies
For the day, I'll pass those gates anew
and see again, those heavenly blue views.
