On Her Majesty's Day Poem by Abednego Oghenechovwiere Omashone

On Her Majesty's Day

Let the trumpet sounds greet the day
And men and beasts to clear the way
Roll out the carpet on the way
Let merry-makers come and play

For 'tis Her Majesty's day, let's be gay!

Let sun ray pierce from the east
And fall through mists on trees and beast'.
Birds from four corners, come and feast
O'er seas and oceans, come and feast

His Majesty is he that throws the feast!

Let the sun be bright and glow
Till in west it sets, let it glow
For Her majesty we make the show
Her very name is none but Glo'

In that same name let the drinks flow!

Make the sound on every hill
The vales and mountains, let it fill
Say ''Tis the birthday of Nego's own Queen
This, bids he, folks and foes to sing.

Just as bids he, let all sing!

Oh paint the sky with stars!
An you wish, moon, be our pal
Orchestra, yours be heard afar
The night shall see the dance of Stars

On Her Majesty's Day
