On Independence Day

Salutations halt! ! !
The few 'happy independence day nigeria'
That rent the air at the rocky capital
And ekò is pure scorn.

This government birthed cabalism.
"Our days of being a corrupt nation is over,
We are out of recession? We should celebrate.
Why not?
The president promised a free poll next year,
He even passed the 'not too young to run bill'
This is true democracy.
Striking workers have returned to work,
This same government met their terms in no time.
Swift government with the best economy in Africa
The world's poorest nation?

Nigeria in lay man english and basic maths
Can't be explained nor equated.
It still will not make sense. Why?
I guess we should all ask ourselves
...

HAPPY 1st of October.
